My name is Agustin Conti, I am a bass player, composer and educator with 20 years of professional performing and recording experience in the US, South America and Europe working with Nestor Torres, Sammy Figueroa, Gloria Gaynor, Charlie Sepulveda, Erica Ender, Lila Downs, Paloma San Basilio, Tony Succar, Tango Lovers, Robert Quintero and Patricia Sosa among many others. I hold two bachelor’s degrees in Music, (from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and E.M.P.A. in Argentina) and a Master of Music in Jazz Performance from Florida International University in Miami, FL. I am currently an Adjunct Professor at Miami Dade College and Barry University where I teach Electric and Double Bass, Music Appreciation, Music Theory and Jazz History. I have been teaching private students for 18 years, at different private schools in Argentina and the US, helping them achieve their goals. After relocating to South Florida in 2006, I opened my own private teaching studio: Bass Lessons Miami. For 14 years now I have been committed to succeed in providing high-quality, individualized bass lessons for all ages and levels.
